Technology and Power School Coordinator
Mr. Ivie grew up in the Treasure Valley and moved to Jerome to work at Heritage. He serves as the Technology and Power School Coordinator. He also teaches technology, communications and audio video production classes. Mr. Ivie loves music and plays a variety of musical instruments. His favorites are the guitar and the bass guitar. He combined his interests in technology and music to pursue a degree in music technology. After completing his degree and certification in professional music recording technology, Mr. Ivie continued his education and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Film Studies, and Master’s Degree in Career and Technical Education.
When Mr. Ivie isn’t at school, you can find him listening to music, leading music at his church or spending time with his family. Mr. Ivie enjoys spending time with his wife, sons and dogs. He appreciates the quieter, friendlier culture in Jerome and looks forward to spending many years living in the community and serving the kids and families at Heritage.
