Mrs. Burnham grew up in beautiful Eugene, Oregon and attended a very small school throughout her education. One of the unique things about Mrs. Burnham is that she has worked in many different jobs and has been able to learn from each. She has developed skills in cabinet building, construction, decorating, customer service, grant writing, management, photography and cooking. In fact, in addition to her job at Heritage, she owns her own photography business. When Mrs. Burnham’s first son was born, she discovered a deep passion for photography and capturing cherished memories for her family and others. Mrs. Burnham’s family is the most important thing to her. They enjoy traveling together and are excited to start building their dream home in Jerome.
Mrs. Burnham moved to Jerome in the summer of 2016 and enrolled her oldest son in 1st grade at Heritage. She was offered a kitchen staff position. She is proud of the improvements she and Mrs. Coelho have made in the cafeteria as well as in the breakfast and lunch menus. In the future, Mrs. Burnham would like to complete a master’s degree in business management. She is excited to start her new position as Director of Operations this year. She hopes to continue her efforts to make Heritage a warm, friendly, welcoming place where students can learn and grow. Mrs. Burnham says that her favorite thing about her job is the joy she feels seeing the students’ smiling faces and the opportunity she has to make an impact on their lives.
