Due to current road conditions, we will be starting school one hour late, at 9 am. This will allow our buses, staff, and families some extra time to get to school. Please drive carefully and we will see you at 9 am. Breakfast will still be served.

As the vibrant season of spring approaches, we're excited to announce that Spring Photo Day is April 2 and just around the corner at Heritage Academy! We wanted to share some important details about this year's process to ensure that everything runs smoothly for you and your child.
Here's what you need to know to be ready:
1. Spring Photo Day Details: Spring photos bring a fresh twist compared to our Fall sessions. Our team will be on campus to capture those wonderful springtime smiles!
2. Proof Forms: No need to worry about ordering before picture day! We'll be providing proof order forms to every student a few days after the photo session.
3. Online Ordering: This year, we're excited to offer a wider selection of choices online compared to what's available on the form. To access these options, simply log in using your student's ID. Rest assured, our images are password protected with your student's ID number for added security.
4. Backgrounds and Crops: You'll have the opportunity to choose from a variety of backgrounds and two different crops to ensure your child's photo is just perfect.
5. Ordering and Delivery: Orders placed before the deadline will be returned to the school for your convenience. Any orders made after the deadline will incur shipping costs and will be delivered straight to your home.
6. New Photo Packages: This year, we're introducing six new photo packages designed to suit every budget and preference.
7. Delivery Options: We offer flexible delivery options to accommodate your needs. You can opt for delivery to the school (slower but less expensive), free shipping to your home on orders of $55 or more, or expedited shipping for a small additional fee.
8. Pre-Registration: We encourage you to visit our webpage at addison.photo/HA-SPRING and pre-register today! By doing so, you'll be among the first to know when the images are ready, and you'll streamline the ordering process.
We understand that capturing these precious moments is important to you, and we're committed to making this experience as convenient and enjoyable as possible for you and your child.

First grade got hands on experience at being a paleontologist. They dug up mini fossils and put it together. This was the most focused I've seen them!
Congratulations to the winners of the fire prevention coloring contest. They will receive a ride to school on a fire truck!
First grade had a great time learning about our solar system! We used pretzels and marshmallows to make tasty star consolations and we made our own glowing planets!
Pay to Dress! Tomorrow, January 25th!
Reader’s Theater will be making marionettes for their next play production. It’s time to Recycle-Reduce-Reuse Heritage Academy Falcons. Please donate duct tape, masking tape, newspapers/grocery adds, plastic containers of all shapes & sizes, plus toilet paper & paper towel rolls ASAP! In 2 weeks, we will papier-mâché over our “skeletal” marionettes. Thanks in advance!!! #FalconPride #FalconSoar

Heritage families:
Classes will begin at 10 AM tomorrow due to concerns about road conditions and bus services. Buses will be running on a 2-hour delay. This week the elementary art classes got to have a Christmas party with Mrs. Burnham. They drank hot cocoa and decorated cookies. Lots of fun was had by all!
This year Student Council decided they wanted to adopt a family with funds they raised. Mrs. Noe and Mrs. Burnham got to deliver a Christmas surprise to some deserving children.
Urgent! Due to the sudden passing of one of our bus drivers, there will be no school tomorrow. Sorry for the sudden notice. See you all Jan 8th.
